The Power of Journaling

The very act of writing has been scientifically shown to be a creative process.

The power of journaling has been proven—writing helps remove mental blocks, provides clarity, relieves stress, and even makes you happier in your day-to-day life. Grab a simple notebook or a fancy journal~write in it, embellish it, jot notes to yourself, and even slip items inside your book to make it uniquely yours. The more you play with it, the more you’ll find the perfect signs, symbols, and synchronicities appearing in your life.

Pen to paper is proven to have more benefits than typing it out on your computer. You’re using the left side of your brain which is critical and rational, which gives the right side of your brain a chance to access your feelings, subconscious mind and intuition without any mental blocks.

Think old school style and bust out the Bic, baby! Even if you have tried journaling and stopped or have never done it, you’ll quickly feel the benefits of a clear mind.


The BIGGEST resistance to journaling you may have: What if your partner/kids/someone finds it?????

  • Consider writing your most sensitive entries on loose sheets of paper that you can burn or shred


Daily Practice:

Open your journal. Close your eyes, inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth with an audible “ha” sound for 5 breath cycles. Open your eyes, read the question below and write your answer without editing or censoring aka as judging!!!!!
